Solution Description:
The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma is a Tribal Government Organization. Assistance for members often comes from housing, scholarship opportunities, child welfare and job opportunities that are provided through tribal and federal programs. Managing member applications is currently manual and labor-intensive, and lacks technical efficiencies to enter, submit and track application statuses. Challenge:
The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma lacks a centralized and digital platform to manage tribal member information and enable access to their personal data and records. Submitting assistance applications for tribal and federal programs like Tribal General Assistance, Federal General Assistance, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Programs and School Clothing Allowance Programs is manual, error-prone and time consuming. Transferring paper-based applications to an online platform will also create a digital space to engage tribal members, present community updates and improve access to critical local and federal information.
