Challenge:
An immediate business objective was to prepare their business to implement a new software for their oil and gas business operations. With a large amount of data in their SQL 2000 database, running a query on this existing system could cause technical challenges without the proper diligence to backup or restore their critical business information. This customer sought a technology partner who could provide an enterprise approach to backup and restore their historical business data, and populate this information so it flows into their new software seamlessly within their predetermined templates.
