TAP Innovations, LLC — Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy describes how TAP Innovations, LLC uses cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tracking technologies (“Cookies”) on https://tapinnov.com/ and within the FlowIQ platform, what choices you have, and how those choices are honored under applicable U.S. privacy law.

2.1 What Cookies Are and Why We Use Them

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to recognize your browser, remember preferences, keep you signed in, prevent fraud, measure performance, and personalize content. Pixels and local storage are similar technologies used for the same general purposes.

2.2 Categories of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary. Required for the website and the platform to function — authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, session continuity, and saving recent actions. These cannot be disabled and do not require consent.
  • Functional. Remember preferences such as language, region, layout, and last-used filters to personalize your experience.
  • Performance & Analytics. Help us understand how visitors interact with our site and product so we can improve content, reliability, and user experience. We aim to use measurement that is privacy-respecting and aggregated.
  • Marketing & Advertising. Used to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, support attribution, and where applicable, present relevant content on third-party sites. Where required by law, we obtain consent before setting these.

2.3 First-Party and Third-Party Cookies

Cookies set by domains we operate are first-party; cookies set by service providers we engage (for example, analytics or marketing tools) are third-party. Third-party providers have their own privacy practices. Categories of third parties are described in our Third-Party Services & Subprocessor Disclosure (Section 10).

2.4 How Long Cookies Persist

  • Session Cookies. Deleted automatically when you close your browser.
  • Persistent Cookies. Remain on your device for a defined retention period (typically from 30 days up to 24 months) unless deleted earlier through your browser or our cookie preferences center.

2.5 Your Choices and Consent

On first visit, where required by law, our website displays a cookie consent banner that lets you accept all non-essential cookies, reject them, or set granular preferences. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie preferences link in the website footer.

  • Browser Controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the site or product from functioning correctly.
  • Do Not Track. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is no consistent standard, but where Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are received from California residents, we honor them as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

2.6 CCPA / CPRA Notice

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

We do not “sell” personal information for money. Where any third-party advertising Cookie may constitute “sharing” under California law, our cookie preferences center allows you to opt out.

2.7 Children

Our website and Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

2.8 Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. The latest version is always available at the cookie policy link on our website.
