TAP Innovations, LLC — Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes activities that are prohibited when using TAP Innovations, LLC websites, the FlowIQ platform, our APIs, and other Services. It protects our customers, our infrastructure, and the broader internet community.
4.1 General Principle
You agree to use the Services in compliance with applicable law, the Terms of Service, and any Negotiated Agreement, in a manner that does not harm us, our customers, or third parties, and that respects the rights, privacy, and security of others.
4.2 Prohibited Content
- Unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, deceptive, or threatening content.
- Content that exploits or harms minors in any way.
- Content that violates export control, sanctions, or import laws of the United States or other applicable jurisdictions.
- Personal data processed without a lawful basis, including sensitive personal data where prohibited.
- Material that infringes intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret rights.
4.3 Prohibited Activities
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, network, or data, including our infrastructure or other customers’ tenants.
- Introducing malware, ransomware, worms, time bombs, or other malicious code.
- Probing, scanning, or vulnerability testing the Services without our prior written authorization or outside the scope of an authorized program.
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity, performance, or availability of the Services, including through denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated traffic.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code, except as expressly permitted by law or as required for interoperability purposes to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Circumventing usage limits, rate limits, technical restrictions, or access controls.
- Removing or altering proprietary notices, branding, or watermarks within the Services or in our content.
4.4 Prohibited Communications
- Sending spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or any communications that violate CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CASL, or other applicable anti-spam or telemarketing laws.
- Phishing, smishing, pretexting, or any form of social engineering.
- Impersonating another person or organization or misrepresenting your affiliation.
4.5 Prohibited Use of Data
- Using Customer Data, exports, or system outputs to build or train competing products.
- Processing or storing data that you do not have a lawful basis to process, including data subject to laws or contracts that prohibit your use of cloud services.
- Sharing access credentials with parties who have not agreed to these terms.
4.6 Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their users, contractors, integrations, and end-customers comply with this AUP. Customers should configure access controls appropriately, monitor their own use, and promptly investigate and report any suspected misuse.
4.7 Reporting Violations
Suspected violations of this AUP can be reported to help@tapinnov.com.
4.8 Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and, at our reasonable discretion, take any of the following actions:
- Request additional information from the account holder.
- Restrict access to affected features or content.
- Remove offending content from the Services.
- Suspend or terminate accounts in violation of this AUP.
- Retain copies of content for legal or regulatory purposes.
- Pursue available legal remedies.
Where lawful and reasonable, we will provide notice before taking material action.
4.9 Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material updates will be communicated through the Services or website.
