Onboarding and Offboarding Process Improvement for 5,000 Employees
Overview:
Overview: An organization currently relies on fax transmissions to manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes for 5,000 people. The IT department receives a paper fax which initiates the ticketing process to turn off/on employee access as members join and leave the organization. This current method, plagued with manual processes, printed paper and human errors, brings inaccuracies to a critical business component. Along with process and ownership confusion, the current method has been flagged for HIPAA concerns with distributing information and opens the door for potential security breaches like compromised log-ins.
Goal:
Replace manual processes with ticketing automation to manage employee access and enable personnel controls between departments during onboarding and offboarding.
